No matter your thoughts on the district split, we are at a crossroads. I am working to help build the best future for our community while also respecting the needs of others. My mission is to advocate and secure the best future for our community. The four main policy goals I will focus on are:

Meet the Candidate
Hello and welcome! I am Jason Hart, a resident of Lehi, a husband and father, and an experienced educator. I am passionate about education and working to support our community.
For the past seven years I have lived in Lehi, with my roots here in Utah Valley. My family consists of my wife and four fun children, two who currently attend our local school and one who will start next year. I serve in my local congregation, working with the youth and men in my community.
I am an experienced educator who has worked as a classroom teacher (5th and 3rd grades), an instructional coach, and now as an elementary mathematics specialist in the Jordan School District.
I attended BYU for my bachelor's degree, UVU for my master's degree in curriculum and instruction, and a Ph.D from USU, also in curriculum and instruction.
As a teacher, I worked as a school leader, building up the community for the elementary school I served, establishing a STEM club, leading the student leadership team, and supporting the other teachers at my school to improve their practice. I also never gave up on working to improve myself, working alongside other leaders to become better each day, for the benefit of the students.
As your school board representative, I would apply the same principles that I’ve learned in my life and my work for the betterment of our community, our children, and their future.
